The NHFA can offer advice on the possibility of clients applying for state assistance or accessing capital in order to meet the costs of the chosen care home.

The NHFA have also teamed up with 'movewithus' (www.movewithus.co.uk / 0800 458 8180) to offer homeowners the Assisted Move service whereby all aspects of the house sale from valuation to completion are managed by movewithus. The 'Fund Release' option can also be chosen, allowing the homeowner to access part of the proceeds of the sale even before completion, to allow for an immediate care fee payment if required.
